Stopped in for lunch and we got sushi and the lunch special. Great portions and the food was yummy. I love that the fried rice is a veggie version and not with meat. Only had pics of sushi which was the Oh my God! Roll and the smoked salmon roll. Would def go back!
The server was nice. My food was horrible. I had the chef's special fried rice. When I asked for some sauce to go with it. A man who appeared to be the owner was extremely unpleasant in attitude saying if I wanted any sauces they would cost $3 a piece and then dismissed me without telling me anything about the type of sauces they had to offer except they were made in house and probably out of my price range, based on his demeanor. My friend gave me some of her dish to moisten the horribly dried out and tasteless rice with vegetables in it that were barely visible. Her dish, which was chicken with brown sauce, was decent. Overall, it was a very unpleasant dining experience.
In town for business in the mood for some good Chinese food when I found this place. Will gladly admit my surprise at how tasty my meal was. My vegetable fried rice was on point, and the rib tips were beyond delicious. The improvements that I would have made with the meal were the wings. They were a bit on the small side and could have used a touch more flavor.
Service quick and friendly. Order well packaged to go. All utensils and sauces that were needed were present even asked if I needed plates. So service 10+ food meh. Perhaps if I ordered in could have asked questions. Portions were large and hot
Silliest policy I think I've ever found in a restaurant. Zero refills on tea. How much loss can tea cost a restaurant?
Food was good. Prices weren't too bad. Sometimes felt like I was being ignored, but, not really too big of an issue, but zero refills on unsweet tea? Unfathomable.
New to Atlanta and had a craving for sashimi. Walking in the hostess was great! Laughed at us both greeting one another with "good morning" and it was after 1pm.
The server came and took my order. I love green tea but often hesitant to order at a restaurant due to the bitterness. Here it was perfect. Also the duck sauce is house made and perfection.
After I place my order. For the sashimi chefs special and the Oh My God sushi roll in which the server said it was his fave roll. Needless to say the entire meal was OMG! Everything was fresh and perfect. The service was top tier making the atmosphere seem so familiar and at home. I'll definitely be returning!
We have eaten dinner here several times. We happened to be in Atlanta and my husband said let's pick up some food from Chin Chin as the food was very good. I ordered crispy smoked duck and house fried rice. I thought that we would have a great dinner when we got home. I was terribly disappointed. The duck was totally dried out. It looked mummified and the house fried rice was the worse. I would return it but I live in Carroll Co. and with gas prices its not worth the trouble. I will never patronize Chin Chin again. I wasted $48.00. Never Again!
Quick order but the food quality is lacking. The scallops were tough as rubber & the dumplings were a weird consistency & tasted like napkins. This is my 2nd trip there & the food quality just gets worse every time.
